JKHub

Vision

The vision pitched by the customer was to create a logo for the upcoming community driven website “JKHub”, which was intended to be a central place for the gaming community of Star Wars: Jedi Knight Jedi Academy. With this in mind, the logo had to follow the same feel of the game.

I drafted several designs for the customer , until he settled on the design below. The design is based on the logo from the game, and the overall theme is that of a “hub”, which transmits and receives data, hence the radio waves at either side of the central logo. Colours where a big talking point between myself and the customer, and it was decided to settle on the palette below to contrast against the theme of the website.

Second Logo

Purchased by the same customer but so far unused, this logo was meant to be a more modern version of the same concept. It was originally going to be part of the XenForo website migration which was scrapped.
