Idea
I ran a website in 2002 called RuneScape Website (RuneWeb), literally the worst website name of all time. One of the many silly things I did on that website was attempt to start an urban legend about “Null”, which I thought was some ghost type figure in the game that was an uncovered mystery. I laid out my ideas on what it was, provided the most gritty screenshots of all time and overall did what all kids do, make a complete fool of themselves.
I decided it’d be fun to embarrass myself further as an adult and create a modern retelling of the ramblings of a 12 year old. In all seriousness it was a lot of fun making this, I had a blast going through this old stuff and it just goes to show how small the internet was back then compared to 2024.
