Vision
Erwin approached me about creating an infographic to advertise his new business venture in game server hosting. The main advantage that Sandboxes.io has over other similar services is the ability to protect its customers and reduce downtime so this had to be represented on the infographic clearly. Erwin had a very clear view of what he wanted and shown me some mock up designs of his own to speed up the consultation process. After the success of the advertisement I created for Sandboxes.io, Erwin later enquired about creating something bigger with more information on it: an infographic. This required a lot of planning and took a couple of days to put together due to the sheer amount of information and graphic work needed.
Several weeks later Erwin gain approached me about creating a new logo for his business venture in game server and web hosting. Erwin had a very clear view of what he wanted and worked closely with me throughout the project. His current logo was not vectorised, meaning he couldn’t enlarge it for bigger media and it had a lot of imperfections on the edges.

Due to the clear requirements, I was able to get a quick turnaround on the project in under 24 hours. I had previously drawn a globe which I incorporated into this design to illustrate how connections to Sandboxes.io are truly coming from all corners of the world. Using Erwin’s idea, I produced a side by side comparison of what would usually happen at another provider compared to how Sandboxes.io handles such problems. Add a splash of retro gaming + robots and voila!

Infographic
The deadline was set before the new year, so that it could be sent as a “Happy new year” message to his customers and potential customers. As mentioned above, the infographic took a lot of planning and preparation before I could begin putting it together. After it was clear what information Erwin wanted to present to the viewer, I got to work on each section and presented him with Work In Progress shots so that he could relay any changes early on. Overall as stated above, the project took a couple of days and Erwin seemed very happy with the end result.

Logo
Erwin’s business launch was imminent, and so the logo needed to be finished as soon as possible. Symmetry was a must have for the box itself, and so I spent most of the development aligning everything perfectly and making everything sharp (As opposed to round like in the original). All in all, the logo took a few hours to put together and Erwin was very happy with the final outcome.
